[Misc] Bias Power Rankings VIII: Summer 2017

The true way to get back into writing is by updating my Bias List. But more revisions are in order as I plan to release a new Power Ranking for girl groups, vocalists, rappers, and visuals over the next three months. Anyway here are my top 12 / 16 Kpop girls heading into the summer.
Honorable Mentions: Seungyeon / Hwasa / Victoria / Hani
Seungyeon will continue to be on the outside looking in, but her potential as the next Minzy of her generation is well-stocked. Hani and Hwasa plummet out of the rankings due to relative inactivity. I know Hani and EXID made a comeback but I haven't really been feeling it. Thankfully Hani grew her out her hair. Lastly, poor Victoria. She has actually been in this section of the list since my first installment in November 2014. She's OG to another level and legacy will keep her here forever until either f(x) makes a comeback or disbands, and I'm hoping it's the former that will happen.
12. Choa / 11. Chorong (+1) / 10. Sojin / 9. Irene (+2)
Choa jumps to #12 if only because she's been inactive from social media and it's somewhat reassuring she isn't leaving AOA or anything like that. Chorong and Irene occupy the "vacancies" left behind by Hwasa and Hani though that's not strictly the case. And can you believe it, Sojin is justified at #10 thanks to the Girl's Day comeback which was pretty good, and the resurgence of activity in general.
8. Yuju (+1) / 7. Eunji (-1) / 6. Jennie (+1) / 5. Hyejeong
The more videos I watch of Yuju, the more I like the girl. She's so bright and shining it's wonderful. I can't wait to see her live at KCON this year. Eunji has more or less carved out a niche for herself in the middle rankings, and being part of one of the most stable girl groups certainly helps that cause. Jennie is the rising star and could eventually challenge for top 4. My only complaint about Jennie is that it's very difficult to find quality photos of her outside of reddit. But with four consecutive appearances at #5, Hyejeong appears to be the gatekeeper to the final boss(es).
4. Soyu / 3. Wheein / 2. Bora / 1. Taeyeon
At some point, I have to use like a hall of fame system or something: if a member has been in the top spots for X months, "promote" them out of the list. These four members have occupied these four spots for over a year now, and while Younha leaving the list made way for Wheein / Soyu to climb into the picture then they may have to do the same to let other people in. However, if these legendary four are removed it's not really a Bias List anymore. More of a Bias List but without Taeyeon, Wheein, Bora, and Soyu. Not sure how I feel about that.
