[Misc] Girl Group Visual Power Rankings III: Summer 2017

I don't even know why I do these. Probably because I'm bored and all the Power Rankings are extremely fun to write about even if they are subjective lists. That said, this will be the last installment for a while, maybe even the last period. As it's getting sillier and sillier to be ranking members based on their looks. And also because we all know that Taeyeon is the fairest of them all kappa. Here's the list of the prettiest faces during this hot hot summer.

12. Minhee (NEW) / 11. Junghwa (NEW) / 10. Tzuyu (--) / 9. Yoona (NEW)

The newest entries to this esteemed group are Minhee and Junghwa. Lately I've been captivated by Junghwa's Instagram and there's no denying she's gorgeous. Hani oppa would very much agree. Minhee has a really cute face but she's obviously known with her group for being the epitome of sexy. Tzuyu will probably stay until the end of time here, even though Mina and Momo are far superior and that's scientifically proven. And the only reason I'm putting Yoona here at this point is because Girls' Generation is making a comeback. She's the visual even though she's like on the bottom half of the group in terms of appearances for me.

8. Krystal / 7. Jisoo (NEW) / 6. SinB (+5) / 5. Yura (+1)

Krystal is still an idol, right? I haven't followed up on her or f(x) since they're still locked up in the (music) dungeon, along with some other girl groups. Jisoo is stunning and very similar in appearance with Irene, who we already know ranks highly in the looks department. SinB and Yura continue their respective climbs, as SinB is exciting to watch as the centerpiece dancer of GFriend while Yura's visuals are still super sharp. Apparently Sowon is considered the visual of GFriend? I would've thought Yerin or even Eunha would've been that role before her. Oh well, SinB is the group representative for me.

4. Naeun / 3. Irene (+2) / 2. Nana / 1. Seolhyun

I think that at face value (kek) Yura's more attractive than Naeun but Naeun has consistency in her corner. She hasn't changed. With Yubin no longer an idol, Irene ascends to her rightful throne at #3. I'd say that she's the most breathtaking day in day out. She'll never age despite her being older than the sea of girl group members who have debuted after her. Nana and Seolhyun reprise their positions from last time. Even though the former isn't gonna be a group member soon (the writing has been on the wall for years) and the latter has Hyejeong as fierce competition, they're too flawless. If this is the last time I ever write Visual Power Rankings, Seolhyun cements her spot as the #1 girl group visual.
