#7. Jin
Jin is so awkward. So fucking awkward. And it's not like one specific thing about him either. His voice, facial expressions, character...all of it is weird. I'm not even hating. The common trope is that there's always a member that's the outlier or odd one out. In the case of BTS that's been Jin more often than not. Sorry brother, maybe next time.
#6. Jimin
BTS aren't exactly known for their vocals, no matter how delusional you might be. Jimin is the lead vocalist after Jungkook but both are average on their best day. On almost any other boy group they'd be relegated to nothing in terms of lines. His voice isn't bad but the strain he exerts is not too flattering. Or maybe I simply dislike his higher tones. Take your pick, but I'll leave mine here.
#5. J-Hope
The first of the three rappers appears! There's nothing J-Hope is terrible at, but outside of rapping he's not a standout in anything either. So given his 5th place spot that makes a lot of sense. He's definitely the weakest rapper of the team but much like how Jimin would diminish on the average group, J-Hope would shine as a main rapper in that same average group. But uh that greeting he does is ultimate cringe. You know what I'm talking about. He (hopefully) hates it too.
#4. Jungkook
Jungkook is a newer member of the golden maknae group, along with other greats such as Seohyun, Minzy, etc. While J-Hope is average in most aspects, Jungkook is comfortable and extremely well-rounded. His dancing is solid, possesses the second best voice in BTS after V, and back in the day started out his career as a rapper (who'd have thought?). If BTS ever return to that debut style - even if it's more of a parody - we better see some Jungkook bars again.
#3. V
I hate liking members that are already fan favorites, but V deserves all the love he gets. He has a smooth voice and dominates the screen in terms of charisma during non-rap sections. Plus his real name Taehyung is cool too. I'm a sucker for good names - though I don't call idols with stage names by their real names. V would likely be higher if BTS actually utilized his lower voice more often. Th
Truthfully the same could be said for pretty much everyone, even the rappers.
#2. Suga
You know what I'd like to see? Suga vs. Rap Monster rap battle. That shit would be fire. Seriously, Suga is a bonafide rapper with undeniable talent. After all he has an appearance in the only edition of Boy Group Power Rankings. His voice is lower than Rap Mon's but loses a little in the versatility comparison. But rapping is BTS' bread and butter so Suga's top placing is no surprise. We ignore the part where he adopted a stage name for his stage name.
#1. Rap Monster
Everything has an order to it. Rap Monster has traits that far exceed everyone else in BTS. He's the only member that speaks English (and hates when everyone else attempts to). His presence in variety and general public eye is well played. Collaborations with other artists are always a treat. Then of course his rapping is pristine. Flow, style, speed, execution, whatever you want in a rapper, Rap Monster has it. Like most other #1's on these lists, he's in no danger of losing his spot to his buddies anytime soon.
