12. Hwasa / 11. Seungyeon (NEW) / 10. Sojin / 9. Eunji (-2)
Hwasa makes a return to the rankings after missing out of the last two iterations. She was the lead visual in Mamamoo's comebacks and with them continuing to ramp up production she may start climbing back up again. Seungyeon is the star of CLC and even though she faces tough competition within the group against Yeeun and Elkie, her charisma while dancing is mesmerizing. Sojin remains at #10 for legacy reasons and because Sojin noona is best noona. Eunji drops a little as Apink continues to lose their charm, but I doubt she'll ever leave the rankings because of her material as a solo artist.
8. SinB / 7. Seulgi (+2) / 6. Hyejeong (-3) / 5. Jennie
GFriend and SinB remain in place despite the lack of Korean-based activity. The gap between her and the four members below her is significant enough to not warrant a drop. On the other hand, Seulgi and Hyejeong have good rises and falls, respectively. The former due to Red Velvet's continued success and the latter from AOA's impending disbandment. Then there's Jennie. Thankfully these lists don't give a shit about how active or inactive you are, and Jennie's a master of her craft. Black Pink please comeback soon.
4. Irene (+2) / 3. Yuju (+1) / 2. Wheein / 1. Taeyeon
The fall of Hyejeong means the rise of Irene and Yuju. Irene will always be the darling of Red Velvet, while Yuju's title as the new standout vocalist earns her continuous bonus points from me. We may be looking at the new final four members. Taeyeon will keep her position for now, because Girls' Generation technically could release a song with the remaining members.. I highly doubt it, but reason enough to have her #1 still. The precedent mentioned at the beginning serves more for determining who will be removed from other Power Rankings where the group status actually matters.
