[Misc] The Late Report: November 2020

Man, it seems like this year has gone by both really quickly and slowly at the same time. There's been...a lot going on. But we're not hear to talk about the whims of the world in 2020, we're here to chat about various stuff that happened in November. Unlike the average Thanksgiving plate, this edition won't be so stuffed.
More Of 1million
Ah, 1million. I remember attending KCON and attending their dance workshop and also being in their video during 2017. Good times. Anyway this crew has been pumping out content for a long while now and the quality continues to improve. This time with Soyeon and Miyeon joining them in studio. It's really unfortunate how awkward Miyeon is in her stage presence, as she pales poorly in comparison to Soyeon and all the other dancers. Yoojung is still impeccable, and her movements are easily the highlights of the video (even if her pants aren't...). Listening to this again reminds me that I wanted to review the whole album, but maybe I'll get to that in December.
Victoria's Sleeper Agent
There was news that some dude waited a decade to become a moderator of a Victora hater website and then promptly deleted thousands of posts. That's honestly hilarious and next-level. First off, the fact that there exist websites solely dedicated to hating on a singer (or anyone) is so sad. But the fact that they patiently waited for ten years like a mad lad is something else. I wonder how Victoria herself would react to this. The dedication is a little concerning though. You're probably...too dedicated to pull of something like this. Still, well done I suppose.
aespa - Black Mamba
Fresh out of the trainee dungeon is aespa, the newest generation of girl group out of S.M Entertainment. Luckily for them I'm only talking about the song because their whole virtual concept is cringe as fuck. "Black Mamba" is pretty stereotypical as far as girl group releases go, just accompanied by a big budget thanks to their label. Nothing blew me out of the water with this debut, it's your run-of-the-mill SME release. Gotta give some credit though, with the Irene news preceding this perhaps they'd have rushed some things but the final product looks polished/ I wish that moment with the phone actually correlated correctly with the MV but we can't have that kind of attention to detail.
BTOB 4U - Show Your Love
Real quick, I don't think any group with less than seven members can actually "form" subunits. Like it doesn't make much sense numbers-wise. Like with BTOB's case here, three of their members are in military service, so they couldn't promote even if they wanted to. This is just the remaining BTOB squad. No need for a subunit. It makes sense for groups like Super Junior and Seventeen who not only have many more members, but also small subunit numbers. BTOB 4U is literally just half of BTOB. Anyway, "Show Your Love" is a solid release once again showcasing their vocal and rapping talents. Eunkwang and Changsub are their vocal pillars while Minhyuk and Peniel are their rap pillars.
CNBLUE AMA
Last but not least is something very recent. Remember these guys? CNBLUE hosted an AMA on reddit and some of the results are hilarious. Yonghwa proving he's one of the finest trolls the industry has ever seen, calling his favorite season of Stranger Things the next season, saying none of his members are adorable (yet), etc. The man is truly a national treasure. Won't really speak much on it, go read through their responses yourself, it's good stuff. These boys got something dead right: pineapple does not belong on pizza.
