#12. Sojin (-2) / #11. Soyeon (NEW) / #10. Hwasa (+2) / #9. Eunji
Sojin and Eunji haven't been too active but the latter is actually likely to comeback either as a solo or group so I'll keep her at 9th. Soyeon makes her debut on this list as her group has been very impressive in their first year. It's rare that I like a pure rapper like her because I usually drift towards the vocalists so I know she has something special. I'm really looking forward to the Mamamoo comeback so Hwasa gets bumped up on that alone.
#8. SinB / #7. Hyejeong (-1) / #6. Jennie (-1) / #5. Seulgi (+2)
If Eunji stayed put, then SinB should too. Both GFriend and Apink are synonymous with each other (although "I'm So Sick" hopefully trends Apink in a new direction) so it makes sense for both them to keep their positions. Hyejeong drops a spot because AOA is out of the spotlight, and Jennie follows despite an interesting solo debut. Seulgi climbs for the exact same reason as Hwasa: comeback hype. She looks good in blonde, but then again, when does she not?
#4. Irene / #3. Yuju / #2. Wheein / #1. Taeyeon
The newest iteration of the final four retain their spots from last time. Each member is my clear favorite from within their respective group, and all have been my bias from the start. Irene is the only one who doesn't boast singing prowess but her status in Red Velvet cements her at 4th. Glad to see I was proven wrong about Taeyeon, as I doubted that Girls' Generation would release music with the five remaining members. Next, a Taeyeon solo comeback!
