[Misc] American Kpop Idol Hall Of Fame

Today we shall take an objective look at the top ten Korean American singers of all time. Of all time! These male and female artists proudly represent the United States of America on this hallowed special day. We'll briefly discuss their talents and accomplishments maybe, though that seems pointless. If it wasn't obvious, this shouldn't be taken seriously at all. Five female candidates and five male candidates because I'm not sexist. Here we go, happy 4th or something.
Tiffany
These aren't in any order, but when it comes to Korean Americans in the industry, Tiffany is the first member that comes to mind. She also was randomly generated into the first slot, so the number manipulation knows what I want. Of course she was part of Girls' Generation and had many a solo and group endeavor since those debut years. You know there really isn't much to write for these entrants, it's all fluff and humor anyway.
Jae
One of the newer generation of idols, Jae represents them with his position here. There are others, like a couple Seventeen and NCT members, but Jae takes the spot with additional flair of being in a band. DAY6 has plenty of official releases that have flawless English versions and he's certainly a reason for it. Jae also does an online podcast primarily in English, which is cool.
Ailee
There are gonna be a handful of soloists here and Ailee's appearance should not be surprising to anyone. Sassy and supreme in vocals, Ailee has done great work across the decade. Hell, years ago she was the likely candidate to take a campaign to the US and succeed.
Jay Park
The ex-2PM member has spent a lot of time in the states, and embodies that work-hard mentality after being dismissed by his group. Since then he's pretty much completely changed his style and made waves in both languages in singing and rapping. If this was a more serious post, Jay would unironically have a spot reserved here.
Jessi
Since she rose to the spotlight in a later era, I would consider Jessi the newer version of Tiffany ha. She hates the thought, probably. Jessi's Korean is probably the worst on this list, but she makes up for it by simply not giving a shit. Have you seen her in variety shows? Like Jay Park, she's quite versatile in both the singing and rapping departments. Shame Lucky J fell apart.
BM
Has anyone else noticed that all the men on this list have small eyes? Jae, Jay, and now BM. He's small eyes plus buff body. KARD is special and unique and BM is a part of that magic. His English rap excerpt from "Trust Me" is legendary. I think like Jae, he could lead KARD in having some more English songs or covers.
Jessica
Girls' Generation with two reps on a list? Are we back in the glory days again? Jessica Jung is fabulous and always has been. It's definitely due to my support for her and BLANC, but listening to her speak English is damned charming. You know her English skills have come into play when working with her brand over the years.
Kevin
Kevin Woo breaks the string of male entrants with small eyes finally. While he's the member I know the least about (and whose group I've been least invested in across time), he still deserves a placement here. Kevin gains bonus points for being an MC for KCON a few times. He was also recently on an interview with eSNa that I caught on Youtube which honestly reminded me he was from California. This subsequently reminded me U-KISS had a few other English-proficient members.
Amber
Did I just break my own rule at the very end by including a non-Korean person? Oh well. If you honestly think I give enough of a fuck to change it at this point, then you're mistaken. Amber was included early on and I don't feel like replacing her with Nicole simply due to laziness. Or if you wish to think of it in another way, Nicole speaks better Korean so she's "worse" for this list.
Eric Nam
Last but not least is Eric Nam. He exists, sings, and is American. I'm tired and have been drinking for hours. Why did I decide to write this post. Seeya.
